2026 Fall Semester Pre-SAT Immersion Class G9&G10

Is Your 9th or 10th Grader Ready for the SAT Journey Ahead?

At Brilliantia Academy, we build strong foundations before the pressure begins.

This isn't just another prep course—it's an immersive academic experience designed to develop the reading stamina, writing clarity, and critical thinking skills essential for SAT success and beyond. Using authentic texts—from classic literature to scientific journals—students engage in structured writing, vocabulary recall, evidence-based debate, and collaborative critique in a supportive small-group setting.

Why Choose This Course?

Led by instructor Tina Wang, our class blends challenge with encouragement, combining methodical skill-building with a motivating classroom atmosphere—complete with engaging group tasks and yes, even snacks.

How Can We Make Things Happen?

Bridging the Gaps Left by School Systems

Our curriculum is uniquely designed to address the critical skills that are often underemphasized in typical classrooms—but heavily tested on the SAT. We proactively train students in these essential areas:

📚Deep Vocabulary Acquisition

Instead of rote memorization, we teach vocabulary through rich textual contexts, helping students grasp multiple layers of meaning, nuance, and collocation—areas often overlooked in regular coursework.

🧠Logical Reasoning & Argument Structure

While North American schools encourage self-expression, they rarely provide systematic training in logical chains and argument mapping. We break down how arguments are built—from claims to evidence to reasoning—so students are fully prepared for the logic-heavy questions on SAT Reading and Writing.

🔍Close Reading & Textual Analysis

Many students are used to skimming, but SAT's dense historical documents and scientific passages demand line-by-line analysis and an eye for rhetorical intent. We fill this gap using primary sources, classic speeches, and peer-reviewed science articles.

✍️Evidence-Based Writing

Most school writing assignments lean toward creative or personal responses, but the SAT requires rigorous, evidence-supported expository writing. We train students to quickly extract relevant evidence and construct well-organized, persuasive paragraphs under timed conditions.

⏱️Test Stamina & Time Management

The SAT is a marathon—over three hours of sustained focus—yet this high-pressure setting is rarely replicated in daily school life. Through progressive timed drills and full-length practice sessions, we help students build the endurance and pacing strategies needed to avoid "second-half burnout."
